的 Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA 或者是 巴克利修正案) is a United States federal law codified at 20 U.S.C. § 1232g, with implementing regulations in title 34, part 99 of the Code of Federal Regulations. 的 regulations provide that educational agencies and institutions that receive funding under a program administered by the U. S. Department of Education must provide students with access to their education records, an opportunity to seek to have the records amended, and some control over the disclosure of information from the records. With several exceptions, schools must have a student’s consent prior to the disclosure of education records.

A few of the many exceptions are:

• Schools may disclose, 不同意, “directory” information such as a student’s name, address, 电话号码, date and place of birth, 荣誉及奖励, and dates of attendance.
• 的 disclosure is to parents, as defined in §99.3, of a dependent student, as defined in section 152 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. 的 term “dependent” means an individual over half of whose support, f或者是 calendar year in which the taxable year of the taxpayer begins, was received from the taxpayer.

登记 occurs at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters and both summer sessions. Currently enrolled students should pre-register (select classes f或者是 upcoming term) in 我的猎鹰着陆, unless the student is a Freshman. All Freshman students will pre-register in the 学生的成功 Center (Delany Building.) 登记 is mandatory for all students (new and returning, both pre-registered and non pre-registered.) No student will complete 登记 until their financial obligation to this institution is satisfied.
